THE LITTLE DETAILS

A few things
to know.

From booking your flight to joining the celebration. We’ll keep these answers updated as the plans come together.

RSVP & your invitation

How and when should we RSVP?

The RSVP link and response deadline are coming soon. Visit RSVP for the latest details. We’ll share the link when responses open.

Can I change my response or attend only part of the weekend?

Let Aidan or Abel know if your plans change. When RSVPs open, we plan to collect attendance for each event so you can tell us which celebrations you’ll join.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Guest details will be included with your invitation. Please check with us before adding anyone to your plans.

Are children invited?

We’ll share children’s and household details with the invitations. HopMonk describes its beer garden as family-friendly during regular business hours, but concert age limits vary. Friday event rules and Saturday Saloon admission are still being checked; please don’t assume either evening outing includes children.

Do we need to arrive on Thursday?

No. Some guests are arriving Thursday evening, but there is no hosted Thursday gathering. Most guests will arrive Friday and stay Friday and Saturday nights.

Travel & accommodations

Which airport should we use?

Most guests will fly into San Francisco (SFO) or Oakland (OAK). Compare flights and ground transportation for both; see our airport guide for rental-car links and directions.

Where should we stay?

Look for hotels or inns in Sebastopol or Occidental, or an Airbnb in the surrounding area. Friday and Saturday are the main nights. See where to stay for area links.

Is there a discounted hotel block?

We’re hoping for a group rate at Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Santa Rosa Sebastopol. Rates, booking links and any deadline will be posted if confirmed; no wedding discount is available yet.

Do we need a car? Is there a wedding shuttle?

We suggest renting a car or coordinating rides for the weekend. We’re exploring a Saturday late-night shuttle or party bus, but no wedding transport is confirmed. If you won’t be driving, arrange both your airport transfer and local rides ahead of time. See getting around.

Where do we park? Can we leave a car overnight?

Estate parking, drop-off and overnight-parking arrangements are still being confirmed. Please wait for the arrival instructions before planning to leave a vehicle at the property.

The celebration

Where is the wedding, and when should we arrive?

Zegarra Estate, 11289 Graton Road, Sebastopol, CA 95472. Our Saturday, November 21 draft has guests arriving at 2:30 p.m. and the ceremony at 3 p.m. All times are Pacific and still provisional. See Saturday’s itinerary.

What is happening on Friday?

Friday is a relaxed barbecue, pool and yard day at the estate, followed by a planned 8 p.m. visit to HopMonk Beer Garden. Pool time depends on weather; the daytime start, final menu and Friday music details are still being confirmed.

What should we wear?

Friday’s barbecue will be casual. Wedding-day dress code and footwear guidance are still being decided; we’ll add them here before the weekend.

Will events be outdoors? What if it rains?

We’re planning backyard time, especially on Friday. Final indoor and outdoor arrangements and the rain plan are still being confirmed. Bring layers for time outside and check the forecast before packing.

Is the estate accessible?

We’re checking paths, parking, bathrooms and seating with the property. Please tell Aidan or Abel about step-free access, mobility or other accommodation needs so we can plan with you.

When does the celebration end? Is there an after-party?

Estate quiet hours begin at 10 p.m.; we’ll wind down beforehand. The tentative Saturday after-party is Old Main Street Saloon, with a proposed 10 p.m. shuttle or party-bus departure and 12:30 a.m. Sunday return to the estate. Transport and venue arrangements remain unconfirmed. HopMonk is now the Friday 8 p.m. plan. See the evening plan.

Food, gifts & little details

What food will be served?

Friday’s draft menu includes barbecue, poke and fish appetizers. Saturday will include cocktail-hour bites and dinner; the dinner menu is still being finalized.

How do we share allergies or dietary needs?

Tell Aidan or Abel directly for now. We plan to collect dietary needs with RSVPs, too. Please flag allergies early so we can discuss them with the people preparing the food; specific alternatives are not confirmed yet.

Will drinks be hosted?

The bar menu and hosting arrangements are still being finalized. We’ll clarify what’s included at the estate and any separate after-party costs before the weekend.

Do you have a registry?

Registry details will appear in RSVP & registry when ready.

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?

We’re still deciding our ceremony photo preferences. We’ll share any unplugged-ceremony request here and on the day. A guest photo-sharing link is not set up yet.

What can we do in our free time?

Visit our favorite places: Armstrong Redwoods, where we got engaged; Korbel, where we celebrated; Northwood Golf Club; the Sonoma coast; Santa Rosa; and The Barlow.

Who should we contact with questions?

Reach out to Aidan or Abel through your usual contact for now. We’ll share a day-of contact closer to the wedding.
